A HAPPY ENDING OF 2017

Hi folks,

Meet my friends from Sydney Australia, such a lovely family Mr Brian and Mrs Joanne a dad and daughter travelled together. For this trip we spent 2 nights at tanjung bulat jungle camp, and we are very lucky to see the rare albino silver leaf langur! The leaf eater! Other than that, we were suprised with the appearance of tons of whiskered terns in the ox bow lake area, i assume its a migration season for them.

The best part is that, im so honor to have a chance to meet mr brian, a direct relatives members of one of the WW2 POW (Dead march) his uncle was one of the POW marching from sandakan - ranau forced by the japanese army. I was so saddened to hear his uncle did not make it. His uncle graveyard still can be found/visited in ranau, and this is his 3rd time coming to sabah borneo for vacation as well as visiting his uncle graveyard. I learnt a lot from him about the WW2 POW (Dead march) and im so lucky and thankfull.

Oh yeah, this lovely family actually also making a records in our camp, what record? Yeah...of being the last visitor of our camp for the year of 2017. (30-31 December) what a lovely ending huh? LOL, On behalf of TBJC team, we wish you guys all the best ahead. And, keep strong and healthy uncle Brian! You are the man!

Best regards
Afiq
