Day 1

Hello folks! here i am, back again. this time im having a short tour of 3 days 2 nights at Danau Tanjung Bulat Jungle Camp with my guest Ms Jacky from Netherlands. i am so lucky enough this time because got to know that Ms jacky actually is also a travel writer cum solo traveller. Meet and greet her at Sepilok forest edge, then we continue our 1 and half hour drive to Kinabatangan. Upon arrival, as usual the lovely banana fruties is ready to chewed! sharp 1630hrs we start our first afternoon cruise, OMG that was a ton of proboscis monkey to be seen! beside that we also saw several silver leaf langur, the leaf eater!. Finish with the afternoon cruise, get back to the camp have some relaxing time before we start again with the night cruise at 1900hrs. wow..wow..pheww..this time, the night cruise quite memorable and special for me..why?LOL we saw the legendary 'the black' the biggest crocodile in Danau Tanjung Bulat Jungle Camp just abot 1 metre from our boat when she suddenly float and show up right in front of us!, and then the second encounter is when we try to approach one of the crocodile near the river bank, at first she try to step back but suddenly she happen to againts the clockwise toward us! and the water was splushhhh!!! a sign that she also scared of our appearance and we also scared with her action on that moment. :) so scary and frightening experience though!

Day 2

We start our early morning cruise heading to the main kinabatangan river at 0630hrs. we saw so many lovely birds, such as Storm stork, Egrets, Brahmny kite, crested serpent eagle, lesser fish eagle, white bellied sea eagle, long and short tailed macaque and also the beautifull red leaf langur! also one of the leaf eater in borneo! at 1100hrs, we do some jungle trek behind the camp and we saw some lovely insects, spider, miliped and many more. Nevertheless, today actually is a lucky day for ms jacky, why?? because we saw lively the orang utan with baby just about 2 metres from us in the middle of the tree! such a luck! she was so happy to be able to see orang utan in wild plus with the baby!. In the night, we continue our night walk and this time the luck is on our side where we able to see so many sleepy birds! black backed kingfisher, red legged crake, scarlet rumped trogon, buffy fish owl and many more. not to forget the cuty borneon horn frog as well!
